We did the home FlowFlex antigen test with my son and he was two redline positive. Antigen tests are said to be a better predictor of infectivity toward others. We did the same test with my ex (aka Mary) and she was also two redline positive. Looking at the three Covid tests above. My son Gene is left (two redlines), Mary's is on the right (two redlines) and mine is in the center (one line Covid negative).
Breakfast
To stay in line with the research that shows large immune benefits and viral suppressive effects from ingestion of plant polyphenols, I do have an organic fruit salad every morning. This is composed of blueberries - mangoes - red apples - green apples - banana and pineapple. I also throw in red and green grapes if available. Again, this must be organic or you are literally eating far higher levels of pesticides which has been shown to increase inflammation (which in turn increases ACE2 receptors the virus uses for attaching to and infecting cells). Also, common pesticides have been shown to damage our gut bacteria which are now well documented for enhancing immune function and preventing Covid infection. These studies are summarized and links to original journals are all listed in the Toxicology links at the top left bar.
Dinner
At dinner I always have large vegetable salad which includes red cabbage - green cabbage - celery - snap peas - yellow peppers - and about 5 different types of lettuce from those prewashed mixed lettuce containers you can buy at Whole Foods or Sprouts.
My son, Gene says his sore throat is 50% better than at his worst point but still has a headache. He's very cooperative with eating the wide variety of organic foods I'm passing over to him. My daughter Grace is still sick but feeling better than yesterday.
Again, this evening, I'm sitting 3 feet in front of Mary in my favorite chair - her coughing is no longer on a 5 minute interval but now only about once every 30 minutes so a good sign.
I'll continue this experiment and intense Covid exposure until I develop symptoms myself. So far, about 5 days in - nothing yet. For those of you who haven't read my previous posts - I am not vaccinated, but again, do not recommend avoiding vaccinations for others as I have been involved very special strategies that the research says dramatically drops my risk of infection (see these from the links at left)
Also, we use no disinfectants in the house and are doing this because of many well conducted studies showing their ability to damage our gut and lung microbiome (necessary for proper immune function and avoiding autoimmunity/cytokine storm) as well as damage memory B-cells (which lie dormant in our tissues in wait for a future virus antigen and then subsequent antibody production). These studies are also available in my "Toxicology Studies" link.
